Our ENT department caters for the needs of a large number of patients suffering from Ear, Nose and Throat diseases utilizing latest knowledge and technology. The department is recognized for its FCPS and MS Otorhinolaryngology training.   Infrastructure for Otorhinolaryngology department includes an Outpatient examination rooms, Emergency/minor operation theatres, indoor unit with male and female wards, central ICU and a major Operation Theatre. The emergency room is adequately equipped to deal with emergencies for resuscitation, first aid and minor procedures. ENT OPD is one of the busiest OPD of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore catering more than 60,000 patients annually. ENT Unit I has 25-bedded indoor unit to manage patients with ear, nose and throat diseases. ENT Unit I is providing 24 hour emergency facility to the patients with availability of experienced post graduate trainee doctors supervised by the senior registrar. Senior doctors are available round the clock to assist their junior colleagues in case of any need. Our objective is to guarantee excellence in healthcare services and to properly train residents in an environment that favors originality and multiplicity.

  • The teaching faculty comprises of competent professor with more than twenty years of teaching experience. They impart clinical teaching and training to 3rd and 4th year medical students at Allama Iqbal Medical College and Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.
  • There is adequate space for outpatient examination and clinical demonstration with state of the art electro medical equipment in outpatient clinics.
  • The ENT operation theater houses all facilities and surgical instruments to carry out all sorts of operations, which are totally free for all patients.
  • Daily morning and evening rounds are conducted by consultants. Patient counseling is done especially of those having tumors or debilitating diseases. Consultants’ services are available round the clock for management of emergencies.
  • The outpatient department caters up to the needs of 33,730 patients in our dedicated diagnostic clinic. The indoor facility is for 25 patients who are provided free investigations, medicines, surgery and food. We performed 6879 operations including minor and major surgeries such as total laryngectomy.
